ATTENTION California Virtual Campus (CVC-OEI) students who need prerequisite clearance: All prerequisite clearances are managed through the
CVC and we are processing them as quickly as possible. If you were granted prerequisite
clearance but still cannot register then it is likely that the class is full or registration
is closed. For more information please contact CVC.
SBCC grants lower division subject and/or unit credit for most coursework completed at regionally accredited institutions of higher learning. External coursework may also be used to clear prerequisite and corequisite requirements. Evaluations provide essential information for course planning, and are also used to confirm completion of degrees and certifications, including completion of CSU GE and IGETC certifications.
Note: Transcript evaluations are for students who have external coursework, not for students who have completed all of their coursework at SBCC.

*Exceptions: For early and late start courses, check the Class Schedule for important dates and deadlines - prerequisite clearance requests are accepted until the Friday before the class starts. However, we cannot guarantee that it will be processed in time for you to register.
