The Writing Center at SBCC is recognized as an Example of ¡Excelencia! finalist. Founded in 2004, ¡Excelencia! in Education is a national organization that accelerates Latino student success in higher education
to address the U.S. economy’s need for a highly educated workforce and for civic leadership.
Our goal: To empower students to become more confident, self-directed, and informed writers
so they can achieve greater academic and professional success.
We offer: One-on-one in-person & online tutoring, asynchronous workshops, orientations, and
a variety of helpful support materials.
To access any of our online resources: Please make sure you are signed into your Pipeline account.
Fall semester 2024 tutoring will begin on Tuesday, September 3, and continue through
Wednesday, December 11.
Hours: Mon-Thurs, 10 am to 7 pm (5-7 pm online only) & Fridays 10 am to 2 pm.
